Privacy Policy
Plateful · Last updated: April 16, 20261. Who We Are
Plateful ("we", "our", or "us") is a recipe book platform operated by Florithm LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Plateful iOS app and related web pages we operate (such as policy and app-open links).
3. Information We Collect
Account and authentication data
When you sign in with Apple, we receive your account identifier and basic sign-in profile data made available by Apple. We may also create a guest/anonymous app session for app functionality before sign-in.
Profile data
Data you choose to provide, such as display name, avatar, bio, and your selected cultural cuisine country (and related map point).
Content you create and publish
Recipe books, recipes, text, images, ratings, and review comments you submit.
Purchase and subscription records
Records needed to validate in-app purchases, unlock content, prevent fraud, and keep creator subscription status in sync (including transaction identifiers and product IDs). We do not receive your full card number from Apple.
Creator payout information
If you use creator payouts, we collect and process payout onboarding details (for example legal name, address, date of birth fields, SSN last 4, and bank account details) through our payout workflow and payment providers.
Technical and operational data
Basic app/service diagnostics and server logs (for reliability, abuse prevention, security monitoring, and debugging).
Map and geocoding data
If you pick a cultural location on map, we send the selected coordinates to geocoding/map providers to resolve country/location labels and render maps.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide core app functions (accounts, books, recipes, map, purchases, and creator tooling)
- Store and sync your profile, content, and purchase access across sessions/devices
- Process creator payouts and payout requests
- Show public creator/book content and map discovery features
- Detect abuse, investigate fraud/refunds, and protect platform security
- Maintain and improve performance and product quality
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs for targeted ads in Plateful.
5. Public vs Private Data
When you publish books/recipes, that content is visible to users on the platform.
Your profile visibility setting controls whether your selected culture/location is shown publicly. When shown on map, displayed marker positions may be reduced in precision for privacy.

7. Local Device Storage
To improve speed and offline experience, we may cache profile/content data and images on your device. This cache is stored in app-controlled storage.
8. Data Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active, and as needed for legal, tax, anti-fraud, and bookkeeping obligations. Backup/log retention may continue for a limited period after deletion requests.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal information, and to object/restrict certain processing.
You can update many profile fields in-app. For account/data requests, contact us at contact@florithm.com.
10. U.S. State Privacy Notice
If U.S. state privacy laws apply to you, you may have additional rights (for example access, deletion, correction, and appeal rights). We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

12. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards (including encrypted transport and access controls), but no system is 100% secure.
13. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We take steps intended to protect data in those contexts.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. If changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice in-app.
