Nexus is a career-discovery app that helps you identify career paths that match your personality and interests through a short quiz. This Privacy Policy explains how Nexus handles information when you use our app.
The short version: Nexus does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All quiz data stays on your device.
Information We Collect
Nexus processes only the quiz responses you provide within the app. This data is used exclusively to calculate and display your career match results in real time:
- Quiz answers – your responses to the career personality questions
- Trait scores – numerical scores derived from your answers
- Holland Code – the career-interest code calculated from your scores
None of this information is linked to your identity, transmitted to any server, or shared with any third party.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Name, email address, or any contact information
- Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Cookies or cross-site tracking data
- Payment or financial information
- Microphone, camera, or contacts access
Nexus has no user accounts, no login, and no registration flow.
Local Storage & On-Device Data
To improve your experience, Nexus may save your most recent quiz result locally on your device so you can review it without retaking the quiz. This data is stored using your device's standard local storage (e.g., SharedPreferences on mobile).
This locally stored data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not accessible to Nexus or any third party
- Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in your device settings
- Is removed when you choose to retake the quiz
Third-Party Services
Nexus does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing platforms. We do not use services such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
Children's Privacy
Nexus is suitable for users of all ages. Because the app collects no personal information, it presents no special risks to younger users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
Your Rights & Choices
Because Nexus collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. Your results are entirely under your control:
- Delete your data: Uninstall the app or clear app data in your device settings
- Retake the quiz: Tap "Start Over" at any time to discard your current result
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Nexus after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
